Valencia Lakes is an active adult community in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.  Our residents are vibrant, energetic, and very big hearted. Our community has a plethora of clubs and activities for residents, including Pickleball, Tennis, Softball, and Bocce ball.   These sports clubs have united in organizing a charitable organization--the Valencia Lakes Sports Charity--with the purpose of giving back to our local community.

A local non-profit organization is selected each year after a careful vetting process.  The highlight of the year is our annual VL Sports Charity Ball, a magical evening with excellent food, great entertainment, and an amazing silent auction filled with items donated by individuals and businesses in the Tampa Bay area and beyond.

Valencia Lakes Sports Charity Club is a 501 (c) (3) organization.  Since 2017 we have raised over $242,000 for non-profit organizations within our local community. In 2025, we were proud to support ECHO located in Riverview and Brandon, FL.  Scroll down to see our past recipients.

You can read about our Donor Program HERE.

If you are seeking gift cards or other donations from area businesses (or even non-area businesses!)  Please see the Helpful Info for Fundraising tab below.

The team at ECHO of Brandon, our 2025 recipient, was thrilled to receive a check for $40,100 from our efforts.
